Obama has 3.5 years to turn this around and be reelected.

Wishful thinking. Obama has 3.5 years left to campaign for reelection. Obama started as a complete nobody and became president in three years. I think as president he can campaign for another three years to ensure reelection.

Prof Homa,
I love your blog, and read it regularly. Till day you remain my favorite teacher at Georgetown. However, after reading last few weeks of posting, I think it carries more political and Obama administration analysis, than business analysis, what Homa files have been known for.
It doesn’t mean that political analysis is uncalled for or less important, but I am sure your readers will love to see more business analysis in your future postings.
