Fauci greenlights voting in person …

Let’s see if the Dems turn on him.

Dr. Anthony “Wide Left” Fauci made news in an interview with ABC’s Deborah Roberts.

Roberts wash baiting Fauci to endorse mass voting by mail this November.

To her shock and dismay, Fauci said:

“If people follow appropriate precautions, safe in-person voting should be possible during the upcoming 2020 general election.”

Fauci explained…

If carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case.

For example, you know, when you look at going to a grocery store now in many regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have X’s every six or more feet.

And it says, ‘Don’t leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot.’

And you can do that, if you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to vote in person”.  Source

Fauci added that those “compromised physically or otherwise” who do not wish to vote in-person can use absentee mail-in voting.

“So there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to vote in person.”

Well said, Dr. Fauci.

Of course, mass voting by mail is a cornerstone of Democrat’s campaign to elect Hidin’ Joe Biden.

Fauci has been a Dem favorite since his soundbites can often be used against Trump.

I wonder if he’ll still be Dem’s poster boy for “follow the science”.

P.S. Good point by Fauci re: grocery stores.

I have been surprised that grocery stores have stayed relatively covid-free during the pandemic.

Haven’t heard many stories about cases traced to grocery stores.

P.P.S. Re: capacity for in person voting.

Since schools are oft used as polling places … and since many (most?) schools won’t be open for classes … voting can be spread out among classrooms to support social distancing,

Hmmm.
