Latest CNN poll has Trump leading Clinton 48 to 45 …  Trump up 6 from pre-convention … Clinton down 4 … a 10 point swing according the CNN.

Unfavorables down 15 points since March …. favorables are up 12 points.

Trump now viewed more favorably than Clinton.

Cruz’s gambit apparently backfired …. his favorability is now under water by 30 points … not exactly well-positioned for 2020.
